SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - A man was arrested Wednesday evening after he allegedly stabbed two teen relatives in Heritage Ranch.

Thursday night, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office identified the suspect as 39-year-old Romen Homero DeLeon of Las Vegas.

Around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office responded to the 4900 block of Buck Tail Lane in Heritage Ranch after receiving a report of a stabbing.

Deputies found a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy who said they were stabbed by DeLeon, a relative of theirs, after a fight.

DeLeon was also stabbed during the fight, deputies said, and fled the area in a car.

Sheriff's deputies eventually located DeLeon's car and made a felony traffic stop near the intersection of 24th Street and Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles. He was then detained and transported to the hospital for treatment.

Neither his injuries nor the injuries the two teens were considered to be life-threatening.

DeLeon was released from the hospital and arrested for attempted murder as well as assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and willful cruelty to a child with possible injury or death.
