SLO Food Bank begins search for new CEO
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The SLO Food Bank is searching for a new chief executive officer after the organization parted ways with the person who previously held the position.
SLO Food Bank announced in a press release that former CEO Kevin Drabinski left the organization by 'mutual agreement.'
“We thank Kevin for his contributions during his tenure and commitment to the local community,” said Steve Davis, board president of the SLO Food Bank. “Kevin worked with integrity and did a number of wonderful things to help the organization grow over the years.”
Local nonprofit consultant Adrienne Harris will provide executive leadership during while the Food Bank searches for a new CEO, the food bank said. Harris has 20 years of experience working with nonprofit and government organizations and will lead the search for the next CEO.
The SLO Food Bank distributes 4 million pounds of food, including fresh
produce, every year. 14,000 households and 30,000 individuals throughout San Luis Obispo County received food from the food bank every month, according to the new release.
The SLO Food Bank’s centralized warehouse is located at 1180 Kendall Rd. in San Luis Obispo.
