Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued Wednesday afternoon

Severe Thunderstorm Warning was in effect for the area outlined on this map, 20 miles east of Santa Maria this afternoon. It was cancelled just before 4PM.

The thunderstorm is currently moving 10 mph.

NewsChannel's Kelsey Gerckens is currently tracking 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Santa Barbara County.
