Compost Tea Party held for kids

OXNARD, Calif. (KEYT)

Children learned about composting this month.

They took part in the Pesticide After School Project Compost Tea Party.

The party included 18 climate solution workshops at Rio Del Sol elementary school.

Educators, parents and students from Oxnard High School helped out with the workshops.

One organizer called it a model that needs to scatter like a dandelion being blown in the wind.
