Scuffle breaks out in the Centennial Plaza area in Atascadero

ATASCADERO, Calif. - Several people were involved in an altercation around the Centennial Plaza area between Sunken Gardens and the Centennial Plaza pedestrian bridge Thursday morning.

According to Atascadero police, three people were transported to the hospital with stab wounds, cuts, and an injury from a baseball bat. Two people were arrested on scene.

Police say a 20-year-old man was booked into jail where he faces possible charges for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing a weapon.

The incident remains under investigation.
