SLO PD investigating armed robbery at Subway

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Subway in San Luis Obispo Thursday evening.
It happened at around 8:30 p.m. at the Subway at 1350 Madonna Road.

Police said a person armed with a handgun entered the restaurant and demanded money from the register. The suspect, described as a man in his late 20s, fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses described the man as being 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black hat and a red bandana covering his face. Police also said the man was possibly wearing a black wig.
