Police said the tagger went by the nickname "OTRO."

SANTA PAULA, Calif. - Santa Paula police arrested one resident after locating various narcotics and graffiti equipment while searching his room on Friday.

Around 2:55 p.m., officers conducted a probation search at the residence of a known "tagger" with the nickname "OTRO" on the 200 block of South 8th Street in Santa Paula.

During the search, police reported finding drugs and items indicatives of drug sales such as scales, pay/owe sheets and empty prescription pill containers.

In addition, officers found graffiti tools including multiple spray cans, spray can tips, grease markers and paint markers.

The 19-year-old Santa Paula man was arrested at the scene for being in possession of a controlled substance, possession of drugs for sale and being in possession of graffiti tools.

He was booked into the Ventura County Jail.
