Man arrested for possession of a handgun inside an Oxnard gas station

OXNARD, Calif. - A 19-year-old man was arrested after he was seen with a gun in his waistband inside an Oxnard gas station.

Around 9:20 p.m. Sunday, Oxnard police were called to a shell gas station located at 1901 North Rose Avenue.

A man was seen holding a handgun in his waistband inside the gas station. When officers arrived they located Eze Moore, 19, sitting inside a black Mitsubishi Lancer next to one of the gas pumps.

Inside the car, officers found an unloaded .9mm handgun under his seat along with ammunition and narcotics.

Moore was arrested and charged for having firearms and narcotics.
