Goleta man booked on weapons, gun charges
GOLETA, Calif. - A Goleta man was arrested Monday after law enforcement served a search warrant at his home and recovered multiple firearms and evidence of drug sales.
On Monday, Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies from the Special Investigations Bureau served the warrant at a home on the 400 block of Valdez Avenue in Goleta.
The warrant was issued as part of an ongoing investigation into criminal activities involving 26-year-old Heraclio Pulido, who is on active probation.
During the search, detectives located two Springfield 1911 pistols, a Glock .40 caliber pistol, an FN57 pistol, a Marlin .22LR rifle, a Mossberg pump action shotgun, a .357 revolver, and an AR15 rifle.
They also recovered a methamphetamine pipe, prescription medication, methamphetamine, cocaine, a scale and baggies.
Pulido was arrested without incident and booked in the Santa Barbara County Main Jail.
He is expected to face felony drugs and firearms charges.
His bail was set at $0 in accordance with the Emergency Bail Schedule which allows $0 bail for certain crimes in an attempt to keep jail populations down to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
