Oxnard police investigate shooting on East Channel Islands Boulevard

OXNARD, Calif. - Oxnard police responded to reports of a shooting near the 7-Eleven on East Channel Islands Boulevard on Saturday around 4:09 p.m.

Upon arriving, officers said they found evidence of the shooting, but all parties involved had already fled the scene.

Investigators from the Oxnard Police Department Violent Crimes Unit were called to the scene to assist with the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
