LOMPOC, Calif. - A Lompoc man has been charged for allegedly harboring a suspect wanted in a Lompoc homicide investigation.

Robert James Scott, 23, of Lompoc was named as a co-defendant in the felony case against Brenden Michael Terry.

Scott has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder for harboring and aiding Terry, while knowing Terry was wanted for the murder of his girlfriend, Sarah Stoffle.

Stoffle was shot and killed on Wednesday, March 25, on the 300 block of North 'Y' Street. Prosecutors allege that she was killed Terry.

Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office says Scott had knowledge of the murder when he "harbored, concealed and aided" Terry. At the time, Scott had been released awaiting felony charges in a separate incident.

Scott has pleaded not guilty to the charge of accessory after the fact to murder. He is currently being held on a $1 million bail.

Terry pleaded not guilty to murder charges earlier this week, and is currently being held on a $3 million bail.
