911 lines back up in Oxnard, Port Hueneme

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. - Residents in Oxnard and Port Hueneme may once again dial 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency.

Oxnard's 9-1-1 system has been restored. Many thanks to all in our community who helped share information when the outage occurred.

While lines were down, residents were directed to call the following numbers in the event of a local emergency:

  • Oxnard: 805-385-7740
  • Port Hueneme: 805-488-3611 or 805-488-3612

Both police departments said they were back up and running within a few hours.
