Drive-up mailbox returns with new anti-theft feature at Goleta post office
GOLETA, Calif. - The jumbo mail drop box outside the post office on Patterson Avenue in Goleta has returned.
Some residents protested earlier this week after they found out it was removed over the weekend.
Two temporary boxes were installed Monday afternoon.
USPS said the original jumbo box was installed with an anti-theft feature and the two temporary boxes have been removed.
