VENTURA, Calif. - Two deaths are now linked to a coronavirus outbreak at a Ventura County senior living facility.

The Ventura County Public Health Department confirmed to NewsChannel 3 Wednesday that there had been two deaths connected to the Townhouse Retirement Home in Ventura. A county spokeswoman said a third death had been linked to a separate senior living home, but didn't release the name of that facility.

So far at least 30 people at Townhouse Retirement Home, including residents and staffers, have tested positive for COVID-19. The public health department said Tuesday that everyone at the facility had been tested.

The public health department first learned about the outbreak on June 5.

Most of the cases are among seniors. As of Tuesday, 10 people were hospitalized.

The health department said it was isolating people in the facility to prevent the virus from spreading.
