formed a coalition to provide economic relief and resources to people and businesses facing economic hardship from the COVID-19 pandemic.
They have created a hub at the website at http://www.Recover Central Coast. org The site is now focusing on getting the community up-to-date information on the latest mandates from the Governor and health department. They are also focussing on helping people understand how to safely reopen their lives and business doors once the shelter at home is lifted.
“A coalition of local governments and Chambers of Commerce and community organizations came together to streamline resources. All into one place,” said REACH CEO Melissa James.
“The site is helpful in that it has everything available currently in one spot,” said local business owner of Therhappy Pilates Natalie Garay.
“As we began to think about transitioning back to “normal” operations how do I do that, The website will be the place they can begin their search,” said Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce president Glenn Morris.
The site has information for both individuals and businesses on getting financial resources from private organizations and governments.
It also outlines the current rules and regulations people are being asked to abide by and has places to get more guidance and hands-on help.
