Suspect jumping roof-to-roof to avoid cops in Santa Paula

SANTA PAULA, Calif. - Police in Santa Paula are searching for a parolee who ran from officers Monday morning.

A large police presence has assembled around Atmore Drive and Santa Barbara Street.

The unidentified person is running from authorities and believed to be jumping rooftop-to-rooftop and going through yards, according to Sergeant William Pickett from the Santa Paula Police Department.

Police have not been able to find the person.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Department is assisting in the search. That includes a helicopter searching from the sky.
