Oxnard police search for suspects in deadly stabbing

OXNARD, Calif. - Oxnard police officers and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a report of a stabbing victim around 12:40 a.m. on Sunday.

When officers arrived at the 3200 block of Sycamore Street, they located a 24-year-old Hispanic man lying on the ground suffering from multiple stab wounds.

EMS began emergency lifesaving measures, but the victim did end up succumbing to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said homicide investigators are on the scene. This is Oxnard's second homicide of this year.

The investigators are encouraging anyone who may have video or photographs of all or part of the incident to upload their media directly to the investigators at their evidence web page. All submissions are immediately logged into the Oxnard Police Department's digital evidence system.

Police said that contact information is not stored and community members may choose to remain anonymous when uploading files.

The City of Oxnard is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for committing homicides within the City.
