1 lane of Hwy 101 southbound closed in Carpinteria for emergency drainage repairs

One lane of Highway 101 southbound in Carpinteria was closed Monday for emergency repairs.

Caltrans said the left lane of the highway was closed from Reynolds Avenue to the Linden Avenue overcrossing for emergency drainage work.

Originally Caltrans said the lane would reopen by 2 p.m., but that was later changed to 4 p.m.

Caltrans said drivers should be careful in work zones.
