UPDATE: Firefighters investigating cause of house fire in Goleta

Santa Barbara county firefighters quickly put out a fire in Goleta.

They are calling it the Cuesta incident because it started on 5995 of Cuesta Verde Drive.
The fire started in a 2000 square ft. single-family home. The house sustained heavy smoke and heavy fire throughout the entire house.

No injuries were reported, the fire was put out after about 30 minutes since the first reported call.

Investigators will remain on scene trying to determine the cause of fire.

Santa Barbara County firefighters are working to put out a fire in Goleta.

They are calling it the Cuesta incident because it started on Cuesta Verde Dr.

The first report came out as a structure fire before 5 p.m., but it appears to have spread to brush in the surrounding area.
