Crews put out fire at Smart & Final in San Luis Obispo
The San Luis Obispo City Fire Department put out a fire in a grocery store Monday evening.
The fire broke out at the Smart & Final at 1321 Johnson Ave. at around 4:30 p.m.
People were advised to avoid the area while crews battled the flames.
The fire was eventually knocked down about 20 minutes after crews arrived on scene, but people were still being told to avoid the Toro Street area between Marsh and Pismo streets.
