Ventura gas station robbed at gunpoint

Police in Ventura are searching for a man who robbed an area gas station at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

According to the Ventura Police Department, officers responded to the Chevron on the 3400 block of Telegraph Road at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday for a reported robbery. The suspect had allegedly entered the store and brandished a hangun while demanding cash. The store clerk then handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect who ran off.

No injuries were reported but the suspect remains at large. He is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s, police said.
