Country music singer Clay Walker to perform at Santa Barbara County Fair

Country music star Clay Walker will take the stage to entertain crowds this summer as part of the Santa Barbara County Fair in Santa Maria.

Walker is the first high profile performer to be announced for this year’s Bud Light Concert Series.

Walker, known for hits like “What’s It to You,” “Live Until I Die,” and “If I Could Make a Living,” just released his latest album “Long Live the Cowboy” on Jan. 21.

“Clay Walker is a country music classic. With his energy and those songs-you-know-by-heart, we can’t wait to see the outstanding show he delivers for Fair attendees,” Santa Barbara County Fair CEO Richard Persons said.

Walker is also well known for his charitable work. Walker was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1996 and has since raised more than $2 million through his Band Against MS charity. Walker also co-founded Military Warriors Support Foundation which awards mortgage-free homes to veterans injured during combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Walker will perform Thursday, July 11, at the Santa Barbara County Fair as part of the Bud Light Concert Series on the KCOY Main Stage. The concert is free with paid admission.
