Suspects rob Oxnard 7-11 with B.B. gun

Two people were arrested early Tuesday morning after robbing an Oxnard 7-11 with a B.B. gun.

According to the Oxnard Police Department, it happened just after 1:00 a.m. Tuesday at the 7-11 in the 1500 Block of West Fifth Street. The suspects, 24-year-old Arturo Hernandez and 25-year-old Marisela Suarez took several items from the convenience store without paying. When the clerk confronted them, the suspects brandished a weapon.

The suspects then fled in a car but were eventually caught by police. Police discovered the weapon used during the robbery was a B.B. gun. Hernandez and Suarez were both booked into jail on robbery charges, police said.
