Linden Ave overcrossing reopens ahead of schedule

The Santa Barbara County Association of Governments and CalTrans has announced that the Linden Avenue overcrossing will reopen Friday, June 1. That is a little over a week ahead of schedule.

With the new overcrossing in place, crews will begin to remove the old overcrossing. People living in close proximity should expect loud noise during demolition.

Northbound lanes on Highway 101 will be closed from Wednesday, June 6, at 10 p.m. until Thursday at 5 a.m. Southbound lanes on Highway 101 will be closed Thursday, June 7, at 10 p.m. until Friday at 5 a.m.

Detours for the overcrossing demolition can be viewed on the map below.
