Foot pursuit ends in wanted subject’s arrest

A wanted subject led Atascadero Police on a foot pursuit that ended with his arrest Thursday afternoon.

Officers of APD Special Enforcement team observed a wanted subject in the area of Vons Shopping Center. Officers made contact with the subject but he fled on foot through a business and onto Santa Ysabel Ave. Officers requested assistance from the CHP Air Ship and established a perimeter.

The subject, 37-year old Justin Lee Ladd from Paso Robles, was located in a garage in the 700 block of Santa Ysabel and was taken into custody.

Ladd was arrested for two felony warrants.
