Buena eliminated in softball semifinal game
Buena could not hold on to a slim lead late in the game and lost to King High School in Riverside 3-1 in a CIF-SS Division 2 semifinal softball game.
The Bulldogs only run came in the second inning on an RBI single by Hailey Badilla.
Buena, who won the CIF-SS Division 4 championship last year, ends up 26-6 as their season.
