Pit bull puppy reportedly stolen in home break-in

A recently adopted puppy may have been stolen in a home break-in.

The Woods Humane Society posted to their Facebook page a picture of an 11 week old, gray and white, pit bull puppy named Bliss who they say was stolen from her new home.

In the first ten hours, the Facebook post was shared nearly 1,800 times.

Bliss just went home with her new owners a couple of weeks ago and lived in the Foothill area of San Luis Obispo, according to the post.

The puppy was microchipped and registered to her new owner: MC #9810-2002-3344-349.

According to the Woods Humane Society Facebook page, San Luis Obispo County Animal Control Services has been notified and there is an open case with the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
