Police searching for man who shot two people in Oxnard

Police are searching for a man suspected of shooting two people in Oxnard.

Officers responded just before 8 p.m. Tuesday to a call of a shooting victim in the courtyard of 2710 El Dorado Avenue, according to the Oxnard Police Department. Police found a 24-year-old man who had been shot in the chest and a 16-year-old male who had been shot in the foot.

The adult was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center and is in stable condition. The teen was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center and is also listed in stable condition.

Investigators do not have a motive for the shooting at this time. There is no description of the suspect other than he is male.
