Crews quickly suppress brush fire burning in Isla Vista

Santa Barbara County Fire crews quickly suppressed a brush fire that broke out in Isla Vista Sunday night.

Firefighters were called out to a field in the area of Camino Corto and Abrego Road at 9:31 p.m.

The blaze was approximately 50-feet by 50-feet in size according to Santa Barbara County Fire Capt. Dave Zaniboni who tweeted about the incident.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No further details were immediately known.
