Democrats, Republicans come together for Congressional Baseball Game
Democrats and Republicans are coming together for a charity baseball game one day after a shooting at the Republican team’s practice.
26th District Rep. Julia Brownley and her Congressional aides are there cheering on all the players, but Congressman Salud Carbajal is not.
Carbajal sent six aids in his place. They call themselves “Team Carbajal.”
The former Santa Barbara County Supervisor said he was sticking to his plan to fly home to Santa Barbara to meet with constituents this weekend. He said he made those plans before the shooting.
