Two robberies reported at convenience stores in Ventura County

Two robberies were reported at convenience stores in Ventura County Tuesday night.

The first happened just after 10:00 p.m. at a CVS in Oxnard on South Ventura Road.

Oxnard Police say a man with a mask entered the store with a gun. The man allegedly left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No employees were injured, said Oxnard police.

The second robbery happened around 10:40 in Camarillo at the Rite Aid on Las Posas Road. The store was closed at the time but employees were still inside.

Ventura County Sherrif’s say a man with a gun demanded entry into the store. Officials said he fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in what witnesses describe as a white sedan. No injuries were reported.

Both robberies are under investigation.
