Oxnard man in critical condition following shooting at park in Oxnard

An Oxnard man is in critical condition following a shooting Sunday night that occurred at Wilson Park in the City of Oxnard.

Oxnard police responded to several calls of shots being fired at the park located at 350 North C Street at about 10:30 p.m.

Officers found a 33-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when they arrived on scene. They have not released the victim’s identity.

The victim was taken to the Ventura County Medical Center in critical condition according to authorities. No arrests have been made and there is no suspect description at this time.
