Single-car crash reported on Highway 1 near Jalama Road

Emergency crews are investigating a single-car crash on Highway 1 near Jalama Road.

The California Highway Patrol is reporting on their traffic incident website that the vehicle went off the roadway into a clump of trees.

According to the CHP website, the car was traveling southbound on state Route 1 when it crossed into the northbound lanes and went off the roadway.

The crash occurred shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday

No further details on the crash were immediately available.
