Three people are in custody, charged with fleeing from Oxnard police in a stolen Honda.

It happened Tuesday night at around 10:30. According to police, the three suspects were spotted driving in the area of B and Homer Streets, and would not pull over.

Officers reportedly followed the stolen Honda, the driver Carlos Ipatzi, 24, of Oxnard led officers on a four-minute chase that ended at Ventura Road and Fifth Street, according to police. Ipatzi eventually crashed the vehicle, and fled on foot, but was caught after a short foot chase, police said.

Two female passengers, Rebecca Baez, 27, and Birydiana Delcado, 21 both Oxnard residents, were booked for misdemeanor drug charges and possession of stolen property.
