San Marcos senior Bennett Reichard wins CIF individual golf championship

Bennett Reichard played flawless golf as he captured the Ford CIF-Southern Section individual golf championship

The San Marcos High School senior shot a 3-under par 68 at Rancho San Marcos Golf Course in Santa Barbara.

He had 3 birdies and no bogeys which prompted head coach Aaron Solis to tell the Los Angeles Times “He picked the perfect time to play the best round of his life. These were the best of the best in the Southern Section, and Bennett performed flawless.”
