Mother’s Day celebrated at Santa Barbara Botanic Garden

Visitors enjoyed a Mother’s Day picnic at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden on Sunday morning.

Pre-ordered picnic baskets were filled with sandwiches, salads and other gourmet delicacies.

The purchase of a basket included free admission, a commemorative map of the best picnic spots, a keepsake flower and a 20 percent off gift voucher to the gift shop.

The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden is open seven days a week and guests can bring their own picnic baskets on any visit. Admission to the Garden is $12 dollars for adults and $10 for seniors. There is also special pricing for children and for those who are active in the military.

The Botanic Garden is also your one-stop-shop for a variety of native, water-wise plants.
