Sailor Richard McNish turns 90

Sailor Richard “Dick” McNish celebrated his 90th birthday at the Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club on Saturday night.

McNish is not slowing down.

He just returned from competing in the 70th Newport-to Ensenada race where he finished first last year.

Weather did not allow him to win again, but he will compete in his namesake race.

The McNish Classic Yacht Race will take place on Saturday, July, 31 this year.

It will be the 40th annual McNish Classic and McNish is likely to be as competitive as ever.
