Dos Pueblos tightens up Channel League race with shutout win over San Marcos

The Channel League race just crazier as Dos Pueblos shutout San Marcos 4-0.

Dylan Kelley pitched five scoreless innings while Colter Nisbet delivered a 2-run single in the fourth inning and later belted a home run as the Chargers knocked the Royals out of first place.

Ventura blanked Buena 5-0 so they moved to 4-2-1 in the Channel League. San Marcos is 5-3 while Santa Barbara is 6-4 and DP is 6-4-1.

Dos Pueblos plays at San Marcos on Friday.
