Santa Barbara captures Channel League volleyball title with win at DP

With Santa Barbara leading Dos Pueblos two sets to one and the score tied at 20 in the fourth set, it was closing time for the Dons.

They reeled off five straight points, highlighted by two consecutive blocks by setter Dane Westwick as the Dons celebrated a Channel League championship with the four set win in Goleta.

The Dons are 7-0 in league with one contest left. DP fell to 5-2.

Sophomore Will Rottman led the way for Santa Barbara with 21 kills.
