Homes being fumigated targeted by burglars in Oxnard

Oxnard police are investigating four burglaries that occurred at homes tented for fumigation.

They happened in different neighborhoods between March 24 and April 13.

In some cases, the criminals entered through unlocked doors and windows, in others they pried, smashed or forced their way inside the homes.

Police are warning people not to leave valuables inside homes being fumigated.
