UCSB getting former 4-star recruit Devearl Ramsey who is transferring from Nevada

UCSB will be the landing spot of speedy point guard Devearl Ramsey who is transferring out of Nevada after just one season.

The 5’10 guard was a four-star recruit out of Sierra Canyon High School and helped his team win a State D5 championship.

Ramsey was highly recruited and had offers from several schools but picked Nevada over Pittsburgh, Michigan, UNLV and USC.

Ramsey was in Santa Barbara this past weekend.

Ramsey played in 26 games last year, averaging just over 8 minutes per game. He dished out a total of 26 assists and had just four turnovers.
