Ventura police searching for armed robbery suspect
The Ventura Police Department is searching for a suspect who robbed a man and stole his bike Thursday afternoon in Ventura.
According to a press release from the Ventura Police Department, the robbery happened at 21 West Main Street near Burger King at around 3:30 p.m.
The victim reported being approached by a man who demanded money and then took the victim’s bike. The man then threatened to stab the victim if he contacted police.
The victim gave him his money, and the suspect took the bike and fled from the area.
The victim was uninjured and contacted authorities after fleeing the area.
Officers responded to the area but did not locate the suspect.
The suspect has been described as a Hispanic male with dark hair and a mustache. He’s in his mid-30’s, 6-feet tall and 300 pounds.
