At-Risk missing Paso Robles teens found safe

Two Paso Robles teens that had been reported missing were found safe in Riverside County, according to the Paso Robles Police Department.

Mauricio Ojeda, 17, and Daniela Esquivel, 16, were last seen on the morning of March 30. Esquivel was to attend school that morning but never came home.

Paso Robles police say the teens were in a dating relationship. Public information led authorities to believe the two were camping in the area of Mecca Canyon near Thermal, California.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department quickly located the teens Wednesday evening, and turned over to Riverside County Child Protective Services.

Both teens have been reunited with their parents.
