Polar Plunge raises funds for Special Olympics of Santa Barbara

Community leaders and volunteers took the plunge in Santa Barbara on Saturday as part of a Special Olympics fundraiser.

The third annual Polar Plunge was held at Ledbetter Beach with participants running head first into the chilly waters to raise money for Special Olympics Southern California – Santa Barbara region.

Each brave participant raised $50 dollars for the cause.
