Second walkaway this month reported at Lompoc prison camp
For the second time in one month, a prisoner has walked away from the minimum security Lompoc Satellite Prison Camp.
Jose Luis Lopez, 34, was last seen at the camp at around 8:00 a.m. Friday morning.
Federal Corrections staff searched the immediate area but were unable to locate Lopez.
Lopez is a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5-feet and 11-inches tall and weights 275 pounds.
Anyone with information about Lopez’s location is advised to immediately contact 911. Lompoc Police Department said it is unclear if Lopez is armed.
