Missing Santa Maria girl located safely

The Santa Maria Police Department has announced that 12-year-old Wendy Diaz was located safely Saturday morning.

Diaz had been missing since Friday afternoon.

She was located at around 10:00 a.m. and reunited with her family shortly after.

The Santa Maria Police Department is asking the public for help locating 12-year-old Wendy Diaz who was last seen Friday at school.

The missing 12-year-old is described as a Hispanic female juvenile 4 feet 3 inches tall, 90 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing her school uniform consisting of a blue shirt and blue pants.
