DP Baseball uses two big innings to blast SB Dons in baseball
Dos Pueblos used a gift 3-run single in the first inning and a five-run fifth to rout Santa Barbara 9-2 in a Channel League baseball game.
Tied at 1 in the first inning, Darby Naughton lifted a fly ball to center with two outs and the bases loaded. But the ball was lost in the sun and landed for a three-run single and the Dons never recovered.
The Chargers are 6-2-1 on the season and 1-0-1 in league. DP is the five-time defending Channel League champion.
