Authorities seek public’s help locating hit-and-run suspect
The California Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run crash that injured at least one person Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened on Hot Springs Road just east of Sycamore Canyon Road between 3:10 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., according to CHP investigators.
The suspect car is described as a late model dark, forest green Land Rover or Range Rover similar to the one pictured above. CHP says the vehicle had the number 6, letters P and J, on a California license plate. On the back of the car, there are multiple stickers on the windows with prominent yellow stickers, according to investigators.
The suspect vehicle would have moderate front end damage caused by the crash on Hot Springs Road in which CHP says the driver rear-ended the victim’s car.
The suspect in this incident is described as a white male adult in his 50s with long blonde hair. Investigators say there was also a passenger in the suspect’s car at the time of the crash. She’s described as a white female adult with shoulder length blonde hair and is possibly in her 50s.
