Rain restores local golf course to its former glory
Golfers are once again enjoying the green fairways at Rancho San Marcos Golf Course.
The grass on the 200-acre property turned brown during the five-year drought.
Recent storms dumped 30 inches of rain on the course, according to head golf professional Josh Pollaro.
The 18-hole course is open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset.
