Lompoc girls basketball loses close quarterfinal game

In a back-and-forth affair, Lompoc came up short as they lost at home to Marlborough 52-49 in a CIF 2A quarterfinal in girls basketball.

The Braves end the season 20-6.

Marlborough plays at Righetti on Saturday, The top-seeded Warriors won at Carter Rialto 67-60.

Also in 2A Cabrillo lost at Leuzinger 71-61.
